Shortly after joining in late 2025, I led the design of the first AI chatbot across Acorns Early and GoHenry — created to help parents teach their children practical money skills, while laying the groundwork for a more intelligent, action-driven product experience.

Working closely with frontend, data, and prompt engineering teams, we designed a conversational experience powered by Gemini as the LLM. My focus was on shaping a clear, trustworthy interaction model that felt simple and helpful, while laying the groundwork for more advanced functionality. The experience was built within a Flutter-based system to ensure consistency across both products.


The chatbot has already been rolled out to 50% of users, with full rollout in progress. It sets the foundation for a more intelligent product experience, with next steps including making the chat a global entry point, integrating Salesforce, and introducing actions and contextual insights.
